Applying for an EORI number in Lithuania
What Lietuvos muitinė needs and how the application works for a non-EU company.
Who applies where
Companies established in Lithuania apply via the MLS online portal, which requires a Lithuanian e-signature or customs-issued certificate. Companies based outside the EU instead apply directly with the territorial customs office (Vilnius, Kaunas or Klaipėda) responsible for their first customs formality — not via MLS.
Data required
- Company name, short name and address
- Legal form and date of incorporation
- Company register number and the country that issued it
- VAT numbers, if any
- Contact person for customs matters
- The planned first customs formality and the customs office responsible for it
- Consent (or refusal) to publication in the EU EORI database
Documents
- A recent extract from your company register
- A copy of the signatory’s ID document
- A power of attorney if a representative files on your behalf
Submission
Pending a fully online submission channel, the authority accepts signed applications and their attachments by e-mail to the territorial customs office.
